We've found the Republic/Separatist core set from a trusted shop for around £95. However, we've also noticed the 'Essentials' kit, which is considerably cheaper for £27.

R2D2 Questions. So really you're just paying the cost of 2 clone troopers (20 pts). Which is what a medic kind of gives you. TLDR; Yes a clone medic is worth 20 pts. basically - Crit is a hit that cannot be negated by cover or dodge tokens. ie: you MUST roll your defense die to protect from it.. this is likely why you weren't seeing people play them differently, they just don't call it out as being removed. - it does no extra damage or anything though, just harder to prevent.

Conceivably a Rebel list could have a Pyke Capo, Boba Fett, 2 Pyke Foot Soldiers, 1 Swoop Bike Riders, and hypothetical Special Force and Heavy units. legion is definitely worth it. it's a super fun game and the models capture that star wars feel. as for the shutdowns and closures. IA is a story based small group combat game. If Legion is 40k lite it will definitely cut into the 40k profits more than anything else really. I don’t know how many of them are of clones/stormtroopers, but there I’m pretty sure someone made a whole scum faction free to print right there.
